What to pack

Hey guys, any tips on what all to pack in my hospital bag? I have absolutely no idea!
Also do people typically dress their newborn “fancy” for their coming home outfit? Or should I just stick to a onesie and pants?

Bring a robe, a gown, and a lose dress to wear home. Bring a travel pillow too!

I packed some ziplocks and trash bags for dirty clothes or whatever else I might need them for while there.

Just stick to onsie or zip up pajamas. 
And for you, bring some pads, undies, travel toiletries, comfy going home outfit and socks, and charger, you really don't need much as your just gonna be there for a day and half or two.

Being the FMT I was I packed everything ! But knowing what I know now here's what I would bring. 
For baby : 2 onesies , pacifiers, baby book so they can put foot or hand print in there. I also brought a cute going home outfit. 
For you: a phone charger, your own shampoos because the hospitals are so SMALL!, a comfy warm blanket, comfy socks. Comfy clothes as well. (If you plan on breast feeding I would bring Nipple cream I NEEDED it like the first day I breastfed so sore.
