So yesterday my bf slept early at 8pm, and I was invited to my friends party so I went & I was gonna let my bf know but he had fell asleep on me. (We don’t live together). I texted him when I got home & where I had gone. But he kinda mad that I “left” to party & he didn’t know I was gonna leave. But he always leaves after midnight to go out sometimes when I fall asleep so that’s not fair. Or he will go out to drink w his friends. He literally knows all my friends & how they are so he shouldn’t be mad.

He isn’t your parent and you aren’t a child. He isn’t in charge of you or where you go/what you do. Doing your own thing in a relationship is healthy. If he’s mad, he’s using that as an excuse to manipulate you

He has the right to feel however he feels about that, but you also have the right to go out if he is asleep. Maybe just a quick text as a courtesy to let him know that you’ve decided to go out would have made a difference for him? Maybe ask him what he needs from you in that situation. You certainly aren’t going to stop your life because he fell asleep and he certainly can’t try to control you, so there needs to be some solution or compromise.

I don’t think so. My husband didn’t come home at all last night and didn’t tell me, I was more worried and annoyed he didn’t text me 🙄 woke up at 2 to see he wasn’t home.( I’m also 8 months pregnant and we have a one year old) We run a turkey shoot at this time of the year and it got over late so he stayed with a friend close by. I think it’s stupid to be mad, especially if he does the same thing.
