Should being a full time parent be a job?

So I hate when you ask someone what job they do and they say they are a full time parent. Don’t get me wrong I understand if they are a single parent or the child is very young or has a disability that is fine. But I’m sick of women who have grown up kids who are like 17/18 but still wont go to work because there a ‘full time parent’ also there are thousands of women with children that go to work so why can’t all of them do it? Especially if they have a husband and the husband is the only one earning a wage it isn’t fair and don’t say women do all the cleaning or whatever because it’s just not the same lmao. I just think after your children are a certain age you should work unless you have a disability that is stopping you. If women don’t go to work to be a full time parent does that mean the other parent that does work is only half a parent??
