Is it normal to wonder constantly if your baby is still alive?

No problems or spotting - just my morning sickness that was so horrible ended 11wks today - might have to invest in a fetal Doppler next ultrasound isn't till next Friday ;(  First pregnancy so I know I'm probably just freaking out

I messed up and read stories about miscarriages without any bleeding or cramping - wrong thing to do!!  Thinking positive till my next ultrasound

After two losses I totally get where you're coming from! I'm always great after an ultrasound goes well but within a couple days I'm worrying again! My last loss we saw the baby at 7 weeks and 2 days they were fine and bouncing around and passed away 4 days later so I'm paranoid!

Yes! I think it's somewhat common to have those thoughts. Just try to think positive and try not to worry unnecessarily. Some women buy fetal dopplers for this reason.

Me too. I bought a fetal Doppler and it does make me feel a lot better!  I have been able to find the heartbeat since 9 weeks (now that I know where to look it's a lot easier).  I don't have another appointment until 12 weeks, and I feel like this is the scariest time. Otherwise, just trying to make myself stay calm as much as possible. Hope you can do the same!

I have those thoughts. And it's my second pregnancy so I should be more chill but the worry is still there.

I feel the same way!! This is my first pregnancy and I am about 7 weeks and 1 day. I don't have my first ultra sound until September 8th, when I'm about 10-11 weeks. Feeling very anxious, but thinking positive for this little baby growing inside me!

Definitely not alone. But I would advise you to talk to your doc or midwife about a fetal doppler. I've read up on it and a few people have advised against it, including my sonographer.
