So my mother in law just asked if she could have my daughter tomorrow and I just don't want her too. She hasn't asked to see her for 4 months, despite the fact she lives only a few minutes away and has time to hangout with her friend who has a baby the same age as mine. And I'm aware that not letting her see her only adds to how long it's been since she seen her but still. And I think my daughter would like to play with her aunts and uncle (they're 15 13 and 6) and I don't want to deprive her of that seeing she has very little interaction with kids her age. But the last time we were over there I let the 13 year old take her to her room to play not thinking anything of it seeing my daughter is 18 months and I started baby sitting around that age. I walk in the room to check on them to see her putting my daughter in a dog cage! And the dog was inside!!! Obviously I'm mad and I grab her out of the cage and yell at her for putting my daughter in there and she informs me that it's okay cause they do it all the time with the 6 year old. I called her an idoit and told her how stupid and dangerous that was. She then told my mother in law that she doesn't like when I come over cause I make her feel stupid. When I explained to her what happened she didn't seem to see a problem what so ever. They have a black, it's a big dog and it's has already snapped at my daughter. I just can't stand the idea of her going over there but I feel bad not letting her play with her aunts and uncle. I just don't know what to do. In a perfect world she'd never see them again and they'd never even met this baby but I know that's not realistic.
