How much did you actually get off your baby registry??

My shower is this weekend on Saturday and only 13 items have been purchased and there’s 25-30 people attending. Lots of the items are smaller too.

I’ve only been to one baby shower and it was earlier this year for my best friend. I personally didn’t get her anything off her registry because I just wanted to pick cute stuff out for her. Which I now realize was so rude of me, I totally should’ve got her things she NEEDED.

Would you say it’s pretty common though, for people to just buy clothes and other cute stuff for the baby vs stuff off the registry?

And of course I will be grateful for whatever I receive. I’m so excited for my shower!
