Baby shower food ideas?!

So im having my shower in January and im kinda stuck on food what are some warm comfort foods for a shower? We were thinking ziti, meatballs, some kind of chicken and this cheesy rotini i found on pinterest and obviously desserts! But i feel like im missing something still

Im having a boy and my mom wanted to do balls (meatballs) snd wieners (hotdogs) 😶 i sai d no so we are doing a a sub tray from a local place and i think shes making soup or something too

A lot of people like the bbq little weenies you make in a crock pot. You could do a potato soup bar or even a taco bar and have the meat in a crockpot.

I'd say it depends on your family/guests. We are Caribbean and every party includes a feast for us. 🤷‍♀️ We had curry chicken, rice and peas, mad and cheese, empanadas, salad, meatballs. We also had fruit, cheese, and veggie trays and pinwheels as the appetizers. When we party our goal is to make sure people are full. 
On the flip side, I've been to baby showers that served finger foods, a taco bar, a baked potato bar, BBQ, etc.
Like I said, you know your family and guests better than we do.

Something like that. By you have main meal options covered. 
Mac and cheese and chili are comfort foods too. But again, I’d say you’re covered with the big things
