Why am i so afraid? Please i need advice!

So I'm planning on telling this guy I've been seeing for over a year u love him, we haven't told each other at all yet. I'm afraid of what can happen or what he'll say since I'll be saying it first. I have a cute way of saying it, I'm playing on having a paper saying I love you taped to a card so when we play a card game and it gets out down he will see it.

Guys are weird..  Don't get all fancy..  Stay nice and casual and genuine. Like for example..  If your in the moment and kissing, stop kissing, look at him in the eye and say: you know I love you right?

Helps it fit into the mood, helps him know you mean it and it's not like you were plotting a way to tell him.
