Mil questioning when tonfeed baby real food

So today my MIL came over to visit my 8 week old son. She asked me when I'm gonna start feeding him baby food, I told her our doctor and hospital recommend 6 months old. I'm EBF and it's going really well for the most part. She was like that's weird I gave my boys rice cereal at a month old, and a cousin has a 4 month old they have been feeding baby food to and he's only been formula fed. I told her no I want to breastfeed solely for awhile and she looks at me like I'm weird. Then she asks if he's sleeping through the night yet and I said no he's up every 2-3 hours to eat and she's like well the rice cereal helped my boys sleep through the night at this age. 🙄🙄
