Am i wrong?? I dont think im wrong 😕

So talking to my male co-worker about Bill Cosby's of all things we agree that if in fact he did those things he completely deserves his sentence. Than I stated that I really don't see how he even got sentenced being that there really isn't any real evidence other than him buying the pills or whatever. I also said I don't see why they even went to a hotel room with a married man in the first place, I'm basically just thinking out loud I'm not trying to victim blame I was just trying to understand the situation, not saying anyone was lying I was literally just saying stuff out loud. He was wrong regardless but i ended up blurting out "wonder why they brought it to light now after all these years" but my coworker got offended and he told me "how could you say that about those women how could you be insensitive you don't know what they went through" to which I replied BUT I DO, I am a rape survivor & even worse I was six yrs old when it happened. I waited to tell my mother when I was 16yrs old and I was told "It's too late there is a statue of limitations and being that it's past 10yrs there is nothing we can do about it" That was told to me and my mother. So I told him how am I the insensitive one when because my abuser isn't famous my attack doesn't matter. Isnt is just as insensitive for the world to not care about regular people's justice? Whats that saying to people like me?!?! He told me they were completely different but I just don't see how. I'm not saying they don't deserve justice I was saying so does everyone else! Why is there even a statue of limitations for things like this when it comes to non famous people? It's bullshit.
