Some people just need to mind their business!!!

So today in one of my college classes, this older lady who sits at the same lab table as me said to me ‘don’t take offense by this but do you wash your hair with hot water?’ And I was like ‘no..? Why?’ And she said ‘well I noticed your hair was very vibrant a couple weeks ago and now it’s not’

***backstory real quick* I had asked my hair stylist to dye my hair a natural auburn and I even showed him a picture. Well, I left with BRIGHT ORANGE HAIR!!! So I found someone else to fix it the very next week. She dyed it a darker auburn (reddish brown)***

So I told the lady ‘no, I actually had to have someone fix my hair because my stylist left me with a color I didn’t like’ so even after I explained what happened, her and this other girl start chiming in on how I should wash and care for my hair because they took a beauty school course. Like please, fuck OFFFFF! The lady then got up to TOUCH MY HAIR! And said ‘oh it’s actually soft she’s fine’ LIKE WHAT?!?! I didn’t ask for anyone’s advice. I know how to care for my hair. I also didn’t say you could touch my hair. This whole situation has had me irritated and feeling self conscious all day now so I had to vent 🙄🙄🙄
