Currently dealing with some pretty severe engorgement that’s making it tough for my little guy to latch and tons of leaking. So far I’ve tried feeding every two hours, hot showers and baths, hand expressing, icing my breasts, wearing a nursing bra with pads, Tylenol and ibuprofen, and stimulating my nipple to help bring it out before feedings. Any other tips from mommas who have experienced the same? Does it go away on its own? I don’t want to pump because I don’t want my body to start making more milk but am worried about clogged ducts. This began yesterday morning and my breasts literally feel like bricks and seem to have doubled in size. My LO is 5 days old! 💙
