Need some advice 😬

Taylor ♥️

So, I am due January 10th, and I told my boss in June that my last day was going to be December 31st. I just want a few days to myself before the baby comes and everything. She said that was completely okay, and that was it.

Flash forward to last week, we’re really short staffed. (I work at a daycare). She came into my room the other day and said a new little girl was starting in January, and I said I was sad because I wouldn’t get to meet her until I came back. And her response was “yes you will, you’re not due until the 10th” . Which led to a really awkward conversation of me reminding her that my last day is the 31st of December. She kept coming back with “oh you’ll change your mind, you’ll end up staying. What if you go two weeks overdue? You’ll be wishing you had that extra time with your baby!” But no mater when she’s born, I’m taking 8 weeks off afterwards. She kind of argued with me and then walked out.

Her sister is having a baby in two weeks (c section), and she keeps saying “she’s staying until her c section date, why can’t you?” 🙄

Now today, I brought up her child and asked how overdue she went 11 years ago. This was my mistake because she said “I was two weeks overdue with him, my boss even told me that it’s good to keep working until you have the baby. It’s good to keep moving instead of leaving early”

I didn’t say anything but I’m kind of peeved that she’s going to schedule me in January when I have told her a million times my last day. What do I do? ):
