It's not an option to vote in Australia so it's wierd to me that American's can choose to vote or not. Voting is your opportunity to have a say, if you don't vote you really can't complain about the outcome or the future of your country.

Who the hell told you it doesn’t change a thing? Do you think countless women suffered beatings and jail time trying to earn the right to vote because they thought it wouldn’t change a thing!?? Do you think Jim Crow laws just booted themselves out of existence? I sure as hell didn’t spend 20 years trying to become a US citizen to sit on my ass and not exercise the single most important right my new found citizenship has granted me. It DOES make a difference. I’m proud to say I voted and I’m just itching to vote in my first presidential election soon. Please vote, girl!!
