Did anyone wait a long time to try again ?

My husband and I had 2 miscarriages in 2002 and 2003. We decided to wait a year or two but then after that year or two decided we didn't want to try again. Or at least not for a long time.

Fast forward and obviously we've changed our minds. :) I am 5 week today.

My doctor is pretty much treating this as a first pregnancy bc my health is much improved from what it was a decade ago, and I had a lot of tests done to rule out anything wrong with myself that could cause a miscarriage.

Has anyone else waited years to try again? How are you coping?
