TMI bleeding

Usually, the first days of AF are very heavy and bright red. For some reason, I have very brown and it looks creamy with some red streaks. And it's very light, like barely any marks on my panty liner, mainly when I wipe. I am not sure if that's normal but the earliest appointment I can get at women's health is Sept 12th. We are ttc and have been actively trying. It's technically day 3 of my cycle but this is all I'm getting.
