HELP! I’m so confused about my body.

So basically my period is 4 days late, me and my partner have been having unprotected sex as we are trying for a baby. I was on the patch for 2 years and have been off it about 4/5 months. I’ve had a proper period every month until this cycle. I haven’t actually got my period but like every so often when I wipe it’s pink but not like bloody if that makes sense? Like my actual period hasn’t started unless it’s really really light but I mean like super light because it’s not spotting it’s just pink when I wipe every so often🤷🏼‍♀️.. I did a pregnancy test two days ago and it was negative.. but like I said my period hasn’t started properly. Should I test again? Or will this be my period? any ideas? HELLLLP
