Why is it that we as women stay in situations that we know aren’t healthy for us? We know we are wasting time because he or she isn’t right for us. So why stay?

I’m not in a relationship, nor am I sad. There’s just a guy that I like and we both aren’t ready for a relationship; I just posed the question because I was curious as to what others felt about it.

I say silly because I know that I’m in a vulnerable place right now and that he could potentially hurt me if I continue to get emotionally invested. You all ASSUMED that I was talking about being in an abusive relationship and that I was judging someone. That’s totally not the case.

I just know what I’m getting myself into and instead of having the courage to walk away...I stay. That’s why I said I’m silly...geesh
