Measuring Behind Stories 🔆UPDATE🔆

Sarah

Hi all, I'm hoping to hear some stories positive and negative for those who have had babies measure behind. See I'm 28 almost 29 weeks. I've been having extra scans done because my last pregnancy ended with a sudden stillborn at 30 weeks for unknown reasons. Their best guess was the umbilical cord twisted or something.

So like I said I've been having extra scans, I saw a specialist at 20 and 24 weeks for anatomy scans and everything looked great no issues. I went to my normal hospital yesterday for another because my doctor is trying to be cautious and everything was fine except his abdomen measured almost 2 weeks behind so my baby boy is only in the 10th percentile. My doctor is having me do weekly non stress tests and im going back to the specialist tomorrow morning. The dr mentioned baby might have to come super early if he doesn't keep growing at a steady rate. I'm beyond terrified given my last son was stillborn so I'm just hoping to get some stories on both sides. I also have anemia and am taking extra iron and have gestational diabetes and have been doing blood sugars/sticking to a good diet.

So at an appt yesterday with my specialist im now 30 weeks 3d and babys abdomen is now 3 weeks behind at 27w2d and the flow in my cord has slowed down so Ive been admitted to the hospital to be monitored 2x a day for an hour at a time basically until he is born & I've gotten 2 steroid shots so far. The dr thinks ill only last a couple weeks before he'll need to come out given my history with a stillborn. So I'm spending thanksgiving and my birthday in the hospital but my amazing husband hasnt left my side and my mom is bringing me yummy food tonight. Anyone else get hospitalized around the same time until the baby was born?
