Abnormal pap?

I just had my first pap and pelvic exam last week. I’m 23. I jus got my results today that my pap came back abnormal. I’m terrified. Should I be highly concerned? They’re wanting to send me to a OBGYN.

My first one I had at 20-22 came back abnormal as well nothing to worry about alot of women has nothing but abnormal ones they don't a biopsy on my cervics to be sure nothing was wrong since ovarian cancer runs in my family and everything them came back normal don't stress im sure it's going to be just fine

You're 23 you should go to the obgyn. Are you sexually active? They'll just do another pap test to see if the first one was compromised. If it comes back as abnormal again they'll most likely do blood work and an ultrasound. Try to stay calm these test can become compromised so don't immediately think negative. Breath and keep the faith. Make your appt and get checked again. It will be ok.

Everytime I have a pap it comes back abnormal and that's just my family doctor doing it.  I always end up having bacterial vaginosis. Not sure why I always do but usually I never have any symptoms at all. The odd time I'm itchy and have a bit of discharge but not too often.

They’ll want to do a biopsy and find out what is going on. Honestly I had it done. It feels like a pinch. Then they’ll want to do one probably every six months until it comes back normal. They said I had HPV. But when I went in the six months for another they said it was gone. And they did one more six month one just to be sure. So I wouldn’t worry until you have to worry. If that makes sense.

Go to the OBGYN (I’m probably stupid but I thought only OBGYN could do Pap smears😂😂😂) 
Relax though, abnormal could be infection... just talk to your drs
