Husband surprises wife with pregnancy reveal ???

Courtnie • 28. Happily married. I'm a mom of Angel baby boy👼, a rainbow baby girl🌈, and my surprise pot of gold baby boy 🍀

Have you guys seen the videos, and the controversy surrounding it? I'm curious as to what you guys think.

For those who don't know, basically this guy wanted to surprise his wife by telling her that she was pregnant. She pees in the middle of the night but doesn't flush so she doesn't wake her kids. Her husband came home from working night shift and took a urine sample out of the toilet and the test came back positive. He announces it to her they are excited, and the next day they announce a miscarriage.

The problem people are having is 1. The validity of the test, they think the sample would have been too diluted

2. How they announced the miscarriage by saying how may views the baby got them

3. " their sadness in the miscarriage video didn't look legitimate"

What do you guys think??

They faked it. They are fake attention seekers.

I agree with Rachel

Because they are fakers. They also take down videos when they become controversial and he's stated several times that they will do anything to be famous. Did you see the last video? Did those look like real emotions to you?

How can you say that with such confidence?

Honestly...I'm all about sharing your miscarriage...I agree that you shouldn't have to hide it or be ashamed, and people need to be able to mourn openly. I mean...a baby died. That's a big deal, and it hurts. I didn't feel like their miscarriage video was genuine. It just...it didn't feel right. Almost like it was a cry for attention. Were they actually pregnant? Maybe. I don't know. Either they faked it all for attention, or they exploited their miscarriage for the sake of fame. Either way, pretty horrible.

absolutely agreed. that's the video that made reservations realize something was up.

She would have been around 6 weeks pregnant at that time. More than enough to have a positive test with diluted pee. I honestly don't think a family would tell their 5 year old that they are pregnant (and lie about it) for some views. I think it's really shitty that people are questioning something as painful as miscarriage because they got internet famous for it.

Grieving process.

I'm sorry for yours as well, I think what you went through would be so much harder and the process would be a lot different. I understand if you see it differently. I just don't think there's a right or wrong way to grieve a loss like that. I'm not gonna judge their situation based on their

well so have I. I just see it differently and there's nothing wrong with that. I'm aorry for your losses

I don't know that the real story is but at the end of their announcement video she did take a second test with her pee to make sure because they were afraid that the test may have been a false positive and it came back as still positive. Also I'm pretty sure it wasn't the very next day if it was so what. When I found out I lost my baby my husband didn't shed one tear... I didn't at first either, to us it wasn't real, we didn't want to believe we lost our child that we had tried so hard and long for. Even when I came to terms with our loss I still went from crying to numb in seconds. Everyone reacts differently so to judge someone based off of how they act vs how you would react is wrong. If it is false that's horrible but fact is no one knows if it's real or not, only them.

It's so hard, it would always hit me at random times. My 1st loss was 6 years ago and the last one was in January. Both were completely different experiences. It does get easier but it's a long hard road. Good luck to you.

exactly. I still have days when I get really upset and just sit in the shower and bawl, then mins later I become numb again. it's still a fresh loss for me and my husband

I highly doubt its fake. For one I mean they had their 2 other kids in the video and they seemed so excited. I can't belive any parent would deceive and lie to thier children like that.

I really really like to think the best of people....but I saw the reveal video...I thought it was adorable but I did wonder about the pee being diluted...but it did state that she was two weeks late so her hcg could've been really high. When I saw the video announcing the miscarriage I couldn't help but to think that it seemed extremely faked and rehearsed. It didn't set well with me.

I think the pee diluted with water might work. I think he looked that up ahead of time. I do get the feeling from the second video that it wasn't real.

I didn't see the other video where she said it was getting easier. I hate questioning somebody on something so personal and heartbreaking but it really seemed forced. I would hope they wouldn't do that, but at the same time I would rather somebody fake it than make up the death of their child

that's where it got me. like no tears. and they kept talking about how many views the baby got them. the other video threw me off because she said it's getting easier everyday. if you have lost a child it doesn't just get easier in 48 hours.

Idk what to think of this.... I hate to be a negative Nancy but something just seems off. But I'm giving them the benefit of my doubt as someone who has suffered two losses

I saw both videos and I think it was real and I also think it's very sad, they were so excited in the 1st video. Unfortunately after a loss you never get that innocent happiness back with future BFP :( watching the video after the MC was heartbreaking.. I felt like all of the emotions she talked about were things that only someone who had been through it would understand. The way she described the empty feeling, etc. Also, in the 1st video they did take another test at the end. The 1st one was more faint because it was diluted, the 2nd was darker. Plus they told their kids, I don't think they would have done that if they were faking it for views.

Would have dared someone to question if my loss was real or if I was emotional enough. For months after that I was on an emotional roller coaster, I was ok at times and broke down other times. But usually I was ok when I was talking about it. It's the times that you're alone that are the worst

Brooke • Aug 13, 2015
Also, this is such a hard thing to go through I can't imagine going through it and having people question if it's real. There are so many emotions involved. With my 1st mc I was devastated, cried for 2 days straight. Then on the day I had the D&C; I had a sense of relief and I was ok that day. I

Since then the video came out u have seen other people try with people they know are pregnant. Taking the sample from the toilet has worked in other instances as well.

Rachel • Aug 13, 2015
Honestly I think that would work, he must have gotten that idea from somewhere. They did another test that wasn't diluted and that came out positive too. It's the second video that makes me think they are faking.

true but they were like 12 weeks pregnant. she was about 4 and it was left in their overnight. I'm not saying it's impossible

I thought it was fake..at first. But then I watched their older videos and they seem like nice legit people.
