What’s the best contraceptive to use?

I’ve been thinking of having an implant done but haven’t really decided which one I would suit the best. What are the symptoms and stuff, could you guys help me out please ☺️

Typical use of the pill brings the effectiveness to 91% but if you take it perfectly and correctly it can be 99% effective. 
The implant is more than 99% effective with typical and perfect use. I've had mine for almost 3 years. I don't have a period (normal, most common side effect is irregular bleeding), I didn't gain weight or see a change in acne but I do have mood swings. I love my implant, it was perfect for me. I knew I couldn't take the pill perfectly plus the implant is one of the most effective methods.

My first mirena was great! No periods for the duration and I didn’t notice any side effects... though I did have cysts!
I had one placed after my son was born last Dec... it fell out- yes you read right- FELL out! After a few months. The entire time I was moody, had headaches daily, and I could FEEL it moving around. 😩 Never ever NEVER again, girl. 
That said, my 1st born was a pill baby and my daughter a deposit shot baby 😂 so my BC experience is 💩 all around lol. 
Do research and go with what you and your OBGYN feel will best suit you and definitely request check ups or a change ASAP if you have any negative effects!

I have the implant and had two 12 day extremely light periods with 29 days between each one. It’s been 34 days and no period which I’m pretty happy about. My friend however was on her period for 6 months straight so got it removed, it really depends on the person and each women gets affected differently. It wouldn’t hurt to try since you don’t have to remember the pill or condoms (if you’re in a relationship, obviously if youre having sex with strangers or friends you should use a condom to prevent STDs). If you don’t like it you can always get it removed.

Don’t get the implant... it’s so unpredictable and a lot of people get horrible symptoms, including myself
