Induction-end in c section?

For those that have been induced, did you end up vaginally delivering or did it end in c section? My midwife says if I get induced, I have a bigger chance of having a c section. Just wondering how many women that has been true for?

With #1 I was 10 days over due. She was too big for me to push out after 2 hours of trying. I ended up getting an infection and running a fever so I had an emergency c section.

I was induced at 41 weeks. Water was broken at 8am, had her at 12:30, so 4.5 hours vaginal birth. I only had pitocin and I opted for an epidural because I couldn’t handle it. Pretty smooth delivery

I was induced at 39 weeks when I was not dilated or effaced at all. Delivered vaginally after 23 hours of labor. I will say though that they pulled my ice chips towards the end, which means they were starting to think about a c section. I was not dilating and babies heart rate kept dropping unless I laid on my right side. Then suddenly in the course of an hour I went from a 4 to a 10 and was ready to push! So my little guy came just in time. All labors are unpredictable and Inductions are no different. Good luck! 👍🏻

I have been induced twice due to gestational diabetes and both times delivered vaginally successfully. The first time at 39 weeks 5 days and the whole process took about 10 hours 20 minutes from the time we started meds until delivery. The second time at 39 weeks and it only took 3.5 hours from the time we started the meds until the baby was born.
