Playpen instead of crib????

Question

This is baby #5 and im going to tie my tubes after this baby. I was just wondering what ur opinion is on using a playpen for baby instead of a crib? I have seen playpen mattresses so it wont be too hard on the baby. Tyia!!!

I used a pack and play till my son was almost a year old. It had a bassinet with it. I look back at how badly I “needed” a crib during nesting and I have barely used it and my son will be two next month. We pretty much co sleep other than that. Now We bought him a toddler bed and he does well with that. So if it’s a stress to buy a crib save the money and just do the pack n play.

I use a pack n play for my daughter. She's 7 months and been using it since birth. With my son the same but he didn't sleep in his crib til he was a year

this is my 5th baby as well & I've never used a crib, always the playpen with bassinet then just the regular playpen

Idk but my son hates his pack and play and I ended up buying a crib which he loved and would sleep in no problem lol

My daughter slept in a bassinet until she was 4 months. Then a pack n okay until 8 months. And has been in her crib ever since.

Awesome!! I usually use the bassinet in my room until baby is about 2 months and then put them in their own room in a crib until 1 1/2 and then on just a matress on the floor and then toddler bed. But i just got rid on the crib baby #4 used and really dont wanna buy one for the baby just to use until 1 1/2. Thank you so much. I feel alot better now!
