It shouldn’t overwhelm your life or stop you from doing things, but the worry never goes away, I still worry about my 2 year old. It actually peaked for me postpartum around 5 months, and the slowly settled but it never disappears. If it’s overwhelming though please talk to someone because prenatal anxiety is real thing and can be treated (and it should be, high levels of anxiety are not beneficial to you or baby).

You’ll always worry, and it doesn’t go away until they’re about 18 years old 😂 even then you’ll worry. Welcome to parenthood. People say parenting starts from the moment their child is born...wrong. It starts from the moment we get pregnant because we constantly worry and do all we can to keep them safe. In the womb and outside.

It literally is always in the back of your head, even long after they are born. I still check in my daughter randomly at 15 months. It's just a part of being a parent.
