Boyfriend and his mom

is this weird? Or am I just over thinking it?

My boyfriend and I live together, every now and again he gets texts off his mom saying “I wish you were here to cuddle me” bearing in mind my boyfriend does not sit there and cuddle her. We went to Portugal for a month and she was messaging him everyday saying how she wanted a cuddle from him and how she missed her baby boy. Is there something odd about this?

it definitely is his mom, I have her number too so I checked to see if they match.
