How do you know when you’re financially ready for baby?

Please no mean comments! I am 23 years old and have been desperately trying for my first baby. I graduated college and have been teaching for two years. I want a baby and my husband wants a baby, REALLY bad(we have been struggling with infertility). 
I am wondering however when are you financially ready? Like we both really want one more than anything but we don’t make a ton of money... 
I have cousins who have had babies accidentally and they make it work... 
So I am just curious to hear the opinions but please no hate. Just a curious.

If your parents support you at all, youre not ready. 
If you dont have at least an extra $200 per paycheck (if bi weekly) after all bills are paid, you arent ready. 
If you cant afford the extra insurance premiums, you arent ready. 
If you recieve any welfare assistance, you arent ready.

I hear all the time, if you wait until your financially read you will always be putting it off, whereas when it is happening you force yourself to be fine. We are currently TTC #1 And just plan to save as much as possible to cover maternity leave for a year

I think what people mean by waiting till they’re ‘financial stable’ is just that they are just making sure there’s enough money left over after all current expenses (bills, food, gas, etc) in order to feel comfortable adding a child into the mix. Plus the average cost of having a baby is about $10,000 with no complications, that price can increase to around $30,000 with complications. (Crazy right?!) So I guess it’s just to ensure that while dealing with a newborn you’re able to just focus on that with none of the financial stress, I think it’s smart 🤷🏼‍♀️

Here is the truth. Financially ready usually means nothing. What exactly do you nean by that? You can buy all the fancy gear? All new clothes?
By that term I am not finacially ready. Most of the people I know are not finacially ready.
Reuse, get help from friends and family with old clothes etc. Kids grow so fast in the first 1.5 years that it really does not make sense to buy all new clothes. If you have the possibility, use reusable diapers. Breastfeed as ling as you can. Make your own baby food. Do you have a babysitter plan in place?
