Why doesn't my husband care

I am 23 weeks pregnant with baby #4 and was in the hospital all day yesterday for bleeding. My husband called off work and came to the hospital after I had been there for 2 hours with our two year old alone. We got home and I have been placed on bedrest. Instead on staying home and helping me he went to a party..

Not okay. I was on bedrest with my 4th as well. Unless the party was after the kids were in bed with dishes done, nope nope. Most of the time relationships are 50/50, but when something like this arises, it's more like 80/20 until it passes. Just like when my husband fractured his foot, yeah it put more pressure and demands on me for weeks, c'est la vie. He needs to step it up.

Some men don’t realise how serious these things are. My husband was the same (although he never went to parties or anything like that) he just didn’t think it was that serious until I had the midwife explain it to him xxx

My husband acts pretty insensitive ever since I’ve been on bedrest. Yesterday he he got upset because I don’t help with the dishes... from bed I guess. Honestly, I think it’s a defense mechanism. He doesn’t like the idea that something is wrong with me so he just pretends there isn’t. Your husband might think that now that your home you’re better. Or he might just not want to think about it at all. Guys can be weird like that.

I went to the hospital like 3 times this pregnancy. The first two my
Husband couldn’t get off work so I was alone. But the last time , my BP was super high so they sent me
To the hospital and maybe I was to deliver so he rushed over. 
But once I got home , it was basically
The same. They see that you are OK they think it’s OK. 
I’m in light bed rest due to my BP but I still
Do the same
Stuff I did before minus my physical job

Mine did too while I was hospitalized 🤦🏼‍♀️ he can’t do that this pregnancy cause if I go on bedrest he has to take care of our 5 month old
