My lo is coughing pretty bad, he has been for the past couple days, but it hasn’t gotten to the point that I’ve noticed it bad until two days ago and up until this morning it was just a dry cough, now it sounds like he’s got mucus in his chest.

He’s six months old... I have to schedule him to see his doctor next week for his well child check up and all that. Should I try and get him in today to be looked at, or do you think they’ll just tell me to go and get him a certain medicine and send us on our way?

I don’t want him to get worse, but I don’t know what exactly I can give him. I do have infant Tylenol that I gave him yesterday which seemed to help out a bit, but I have nothing for a cough.
