Scared

Yesterday I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time, neither of us were virgins and had sex with other people before each other. I don’t know his sexual history though and if he has any type of disease ( I believed he didn’t ) after we did it my vagina hurt bad ( thought it was cause I hadn’t had sex in a while ) but today my vagina started itching ( on the inside ) and stinging really bad. I’m scared that this could be genital herpes or another type of disease. Thoughts??
