What am I doing wrong?

I’m new to cloth diapering and I’m doing prefolds and covers. I’m using size one osocozy prefolds on my 6 week old and they don’t seem to be fitting right. Any advice?

Your fit actually looks pretty good. The absorbency seems to be in place where it’s needed. Once you throw a cover on it should all be perfect! 
If you’re worried about the front being too high though, you might put the diaper higher in the back. Start at least as high as the belly button and go from there. Hope that helps!

When I did mine the front section I would open at the top a little bit but that's it. I watched a lot of videos on YouTube until I found the fold that really worked for my son there are tons of different techniques different mothers use

I use prefolds and covers too, but I do it without a snappi. I just fold the cloth in half or in thirds and place it into the cover. Then I put the cover on like a normal diaper. The cover takes care of the fit.
I use BumGenius, Flip, and Econobum covers. I have one size covers with snaps to change the length.

I use those exact prefolds. I have a 10 week old boy, similar skinny waist and chunky thighs. 
Try folding the front of prefold down either facing out or in, and pull out the sides so it makes "wings" then you can bring them to the sides easier. I don't have a picture of this, but that's what is working lately to get it secured better with the Snappi. 
This is a picture I took of my guy around 4 weeks, also to ask about fit on a FB group. As long as there is no gaps around the legs, you should be fine. 
You can always "jelly roll" the prefold around the outside of his thighs, tucking the fabric under. This helps keep the runny poo in also.

I dont use cloth diapers so I dont know how the fit should be but, it looks pretty tight around the waist. Maybe use a bigger size. I know when the disposables are running small on my kids they start getting tight around the waist and the absorbency is really bad, so I just up the size. I have tried 1 brand of cloths when my daughter was first born but I gave up on the extra work I felt I didnt have time to clean the diapers juggling 2 babies lol most moms do it but I just couldn't. Anyhow the brand was a one size fits all with snaps to make them bigger but I dont really believe that because if I were to put them on her now I know they wouldnt fit without being tight just looking at them. But like I said I dont really know much about cloth diapers I just have a weird thing about diapers being tight, even with the disposables I never use the "perfect fit" lines I always give them more room lol but if they are anything like disposables I'd up the size or use a different brand.
