Playtime

Hi all. Just interested in finding out how much playtime you all spend actively playing and doing educational games with your kids vs how much independent play they do?

My son is all of a sudden really into the vacuum cleaner and I swear he wants to play with nothing else. I end up watching him play with it for really long stretches. He will focus a bit on something like playdough/drawing/reading, but after a few minutes he just wants the vacuum again! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Is this normal?
