How long will it take for vaginal tears to heal?

I gave birth two days ago and had a second degree rip. It burns so bad to pee. Not just my rip but the whole vagina. I try to not go to the bathroom because it’s just so painful. I use the spray and witch hazel pads but it doesn’t seem to help much. Been taking 600mg Ibuprofen too. I am also breastfeeding. I have a cold from being in the hospital for so long so I keep coughing and each cough I just want to cry my eyes out it hurts my stitches so bad.

Depends on the tear. I had a third degree tear that required 8 stitches 😩 I was on Advil and Tylenol for the first week then I went down to just Advil. Honestly, my saving grace was sitz baths. Sitting in there three times a day for ten minutes each time with Epson salts really helped with swelling, keeping everything clean and helped with pain. I would STRONGLY suggest doing this if you aren’t already. 
I was tender for 5-6 weeks and just started feeling more like myself down there this past week.

Had really bad tearing too and it took about 3 to 5 weeks for me to feel better.

A few weeks prob 2 -3 i had very bad tearing forceps and baby was back to back i got alot of stitches. Once you feel up to it when it stops hurting do pelvic floor exercises to feel normal again.. i legit peed myself a few times in the 2 weeks after.. an then first time you need a poop is scary but it wasnt as bad as i thought. I feel you!! Gave birth Oct 19 with a second degree tear. The peri bottle literally did nothing while I would pee and I would brace myself and cry till the burning went away. The onlyyyh thing that helped me was peeing in the shower while using the peri bottle. I know it sounds gross, but it’s survival lol. As soon as I started hopping in the shower quick to pee I felt a million times better! The pain was gone by 9 days postpartum and now 3 weeks later there is just the occasional bit of pain from small micro tears

Mine stopped hurting around 18 weeks to be honest but it was more of a dull pain for most of that time. I was fully healed by 6 weeks, midwife said you couldn't even see where I'd gotten stitches. But it hurt for a while afterwards anyway.

Are you using the little peri bottle while you pee? It helped me a lot. Warm water though. Or pee in the shower with hot water is sometimes what I’d do.
