Best State for Alleviating Allergies

Hubby, son, and I currently live in Central California and both my son and I have allergies and breathing issues related to the valley air. My dad travels to Oregon semi frequently to visit one of his longtime customers and good friends, and informed me that when he went up a few weeks ago, all of his allergies from the valley completely disappeared.

Hubby and I are not in a position to just up and move at the moment (he just started a good position in IT with DOT & I'm going to be attending a nursing program, so we have a few years to save up money for a down payment on a house).

I also won a decent settlement with a former employer for bad work ethics, so that money is going into savings and will be getting built up as part of the down payment on a house.
