Help!!!!

Ladies I need help. I bought myself a pandora ring that was purple and happened to match a necklace my ex bf bought for me. My current bf had only voiced his thoughts on his dislike for it a couple weeks ago and absolutely freaked out about it tonight. Am I wrong for thinking it’s not a big deal cause I don’t have the necklace anymore so therefore it doesn’t match, I bought it myself. So now I told him I won’t wear it anymore and his attitude is I don’t fucking care about it if you wanna wear it fine. Obviously I know he’s pissed about it. Advice please!!! Looks like I have to get a different pandora ring
