ttc...too much folic acid?

Has anyone ever taken pregnitude and prenatals together? I’ve read not to go over 1mg of folic acid and adding the folic acid from the pregnitude and the prenatal gummies it is exactly 1mg. I don’t feel sick or anything funny...I just never knew you could get too much of something that’s good for you and your future baby...🤷🏼‍♀️ maybe I’m just being crazy 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m taking 500mcg folic acid because I was taking 800mcg but, after taking it daily for months, I overdosed and got side effects like tremendously bad cramps. I didn’t know overdosing on folic acid was a thing - turns out it is. I had a gyn appointment to confirm and vaginal ultrasound. Folate was the culprit!

I am doing the exact same thing, and I was told it is perfectly fine. Just don't take any more on top of that.

I think it’s fine.  My doctor says 800mcg is good, I doubt he’d had a problem with 1000👌🏼
