Have you taken your toddler to the movies?

Debating on taking my almost-two year old to see The Grinch today for a 3:30/4pm showing. I want to bring snacks in the diaper bag and make sure he’s all stocked up in case he gets antsy, but I was hoping to see how it’s gone for everyone else!

Update: it went really well!! 
First, they didn’t make me pay for his ticket, so that was a plus. Meant that if he hated it and we had to leave it wasn’t a total loss!
Secondly, he sat so still and just loved the movie! It was bright and colorful and had music, all the things my little guy likes. He ate popcorn and drank from his sippy cup and didn’t even ask for my drink. 
My only issue was that I couldn’t carry him up or down the stairs (since I’m 26 weeks pregnant and very tiny), so people rushed us both ways, which was annoying. 
Oh well! Better than expected overall!

Nope. The only movie he will sit for is Moana. No other shows/movies hold his attention for more than a minute.

My son would be walking up and down the isle and it'd be a disaster plus there's no point going to movies I'm not going to go on my own that's just sad for me to do plus I don't have the money to do it

22 min episodes of bubble guppies are my son’s limit so I will prob be waiting a while to take him to any movies, maybe age 3! I really enjoyed seeing Beauty and the Beast in the theater when I was 4, it’s one of my favorite childhood memories. But I know there’s plenty of time to take him and I know he won’t sit still that long right now.

I have been wanting to take my daughter so bad but didnt know if she could sit we decided to that we are going to take her every time the preview comes on she gets so excited.
