Coming off depo provera

Has anyone gotten off the shot and felt miserable afterwards? It's been about 3 months since I've been off the shot and I've been nothing but sick. I got my period about 2weeks after I missed my second injection and it lasted 4 1/2 weeks. I got anemia from it because my periods were so heavy. Two weeks after that my period came back, were just as heavy but only lasted 5 days. I still feel awful and I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced similar symptoms and if so how have you coped? My hub and I are trying for our 3rd child and I know it's a process after the shot but my body is a wreck!
