Working whilst going through ivf??

Kerry A

Hi All,

I’m on the 2nd round of ivf. The first round I relaxed as much as I could and didn’t really work much. Unfortunately the round failed due to either not implanting or the egg arrested. We only got one as I have very low ovarian reserve.

2nd round- on day 5 of stimmimg and trying to just get on with things. I run a horse yard and am on my feet 8.5 hours 5 days a week. Lifting hay, pushing wheel barrows, riding the horses etc. It’s a busy yard. But I keep asking myself if I’m doing to much?? I’m pretty fit so I’m not sweating buckets or getting out of breath. My consultant just says don’t push yourself to much but I keep reading that people just go for a 30 minute walk max a day?? It’s dangerous to do any more...

I am tired and very very bloated but still feel able to do the work but am I risking my very few follicles not growing do you think?

Any advice would be great. Thanks xx
