If your SO called you a stupid b****, retarded, dumb stupid, etc would you expect him to say sorry?

My SO and I have been fighting for a day and ignoring each other and he said if you’re just waiting for me to say sorry well it ain’t gonna happen. I just feel like he shouldn’t call me those things and if he does he should at least have the decency to say sorry. Or am I over reacting?

None of those things are acceptable. Even if he apologizes, he would not say any of that if he respected you at all. 
The honest truth is that’s a form of abuse. Like legitimate abuse. 
You’re best off just ditching his ass before he gets physically violent with you. Cos trust me it always gets worse and worse as time goes on. 
Don’t waste time waiting for an apology. An apology does not equal respect and if he doesn’t respect you by now he never will.

You're right, he shouldn't call you those things. But now that he has, he's clearly not sorry. Begging him for an apology will only make you feel worse about yourself, you need to have the self confidence to realize that you didn't deserve that kind of treatment and don't need to put up with it. Just ignore him and do you for a while, not to try to get his attention but just to remind yourself of who you are and why you don't know who the hellllll he thinks he was talking to but it better not be you. I'm not gonna tell you to break up with him because I don't know the circumstances of why he said those things but definitely think about how you're gonna handle it and put him in his place
