I found out yesterday at my 8 week appointment that my baby had stopped growing and didn't have a heartbeat. The doctor is supposed to call me this morning to schedule my D&C. (I originally thought naturally would be better but after discussing my personal health issues I think a D&C is best). I just have this overwhelming feeling that I need one more ultrasound before the procedure. I really don't have hope that somehow everything is okay...so I can't really explain my logic for this feeling but I guess I'm just trying to ask from ladies who have gone through a D&C before if it is common for the doctor to do one more ultrasound before starting the procedure. I hope this makes sense and I don't sound like a nut case. Thank you in advance!
