The Past

We’ve both cheated on each other. We did it about a week after we broke up. Neither of us knew we would get back together but we eventually did. Should I leave him? We made a promise to each other to let the past go. But I can’t seem to know why I don’t feel comfortable enough to tell him everything. Sometimes I feel like I’m not being listened to. How do I get over the past? It is so hard to let him go but if I have to go to another country and study abroad to force myself to forget about everything, I will. We have even more problems than only cheating. There’s been insults in the past before the promise we made also. He gives me all the things I ask for but when it comes to letting him go, my feelings latch on and I go right back to him. Because we’ve both forgiven each other. Is love based on couples’ past? Should I move on with him or without him?
