How do you all control yourselves?

Question

I found out yesterday I'm 5 1/2weeks pregnant and I wanna tell everyone and their mom, I wanna start shopping and talking about it! I know why not to in the first trimester but how do you go the next two months without saying a word!!

Also another question I'm at a new job I'm still in the probationary 90 days, I've been here about a month now....I'm a emergency veterinary nurse, I wrestle dog, lift super heavy animals, monitor and work around anaestisia ect.....and work graveyard.... I don't wanna tell anyone because I'm still on the probation time but I don't wanna endanger my baby either....

I told as soon as the test showed positive. I got a lot judgement for it, because people were saying what am I going to do if I lose the baby, it's cursing the pregnancy, etc. But the way I felt is if I were to lose my child it would be so much harder to deal with the loss had no one known, than to deal with it with everyone knowing. Of course if I was to of miscarried it would be hard to deal with the "what happened" "how's the baby" and other questions that you would get, but with a known miscarriage I would of had the support that I personally would of needed. 
And as for announcing early jinxes the pregnancy is a total sham. I'm now 35weeks +6 days pregnant with a healthy boy.

The rules of when to tell people are totally ridiculous! Tell people whenever you  want to !!! I told everyone the day we found out ! We put it on fb soon as the doctor confirmed  it ! With both this pregnancy  and the one before . The one before ended in miscarriage . I don't regret it one little bit.  That life was precious and loved.

Tell whoever you want, whenever you want! The way I looked at it, I would have told people if I miscarried anyways, I think it's up to you when/if you tell people!😜

I told friends who live far away so that I could be excited without having to worry about everyone knowing while I sill don't want them to.

I told my family and boyfriend as soon as I found out because I couldn't not tell anybody! But didn't tell friends or put anything about it until my first scan at 12 weeks because they class that as the 'safe stage' 😌

I personally loved holding it in. Me and my BF loved having such a special secret between just the two of us, it was fun :)

They can't fire me even in my first 90days? I was told you could be let go for no reason at all in those days so I'm scared to give them any motive or incentive :/
