UPDATE ‼️‼️‼️Positive pregnancy test at home but negative at doctor ?

Update: I got my blood test results back this morning and my levels were at 0 what does this mean??😕
Okay so I’ve been posting and posting and no one ever replies 🙄 but I’m currently 14 days late for my period I had this weird spotting a week before my period that was bright pink and brown but really really light (I know this wasn’t my period) and my cm has been really really wet sorry for the tmi!! But even my Bf has noticed the changes during intercourse I tested this morning and it was positive with first morning urine after 5 min but tested negative at the doctor around 4 pm they did blood work and it should be back in the morning has anyone experienced this

Your afternoon pee is more diluted so it’s more likely to test negative if you’re early on, which is why the tests say use first morning pee. The bloodwork will most likely be positive

Doctors usually don't count faint positives as positive, even though they are. Plus, you may not have enough HCG in your system to get a positive in the afternoon just yet. Wait for your results and test again in a few days with them if you can. Congrats!

Yes! I got 5 positive pregnancy tests and the doctor got two negative so took blood and sent me home, when I went home I took a bunch more, all positive. Blood work ended up coming back positive obviously. For some reason doctors office tests aren’t as sensitive as the ones we buy at the store, which doesn’t make sense to me. But if you’re getting positives you’re pregnant. False positives are incredibly rare

Hcg at a level of 0 means not pregnant. I’d speak to the doctor and ask why the tests may be showing a positive when bloods are negative, there may be something else that could explain it (protein in urine can sometimes cause a false positive).

Doctors tests are less sensitive so it doesn’t pick up a positive as early as some home tests. That test is definitely positive!
