Measuring 4 weeks ahead !?

Question

I'm 26 weeks with my third and I am measuring 30 weeks. The doctor said it could be due to diabetes. I did my glucose test today and find out the results Monday. I go back in two weeks for a growth ultrasound and appointment. My question is; has this ever happened to anyone else? Was it due to diabetes? What was the outcome? I feel awful...like I've failed my baby. I've also gained a lot of weight. I gained 9 pounds in just one month for a total of 20 pounds in 26 weeks. :(

It could be several different things. First off, don't freak out. I have poly something which is where you have too much amniotic fluid and my baby is measuring two weeks ahead. Therefore, I am bigger. My doc skilled me right to the three hour glucose test and I don't have diabetes. I went for a level 2 ultrasound at 22 weeks (this was all discovered at my 20 week ultrasound) and everything looked normal. They said sometimes this just happens. They are doing ultrasounds every 4 weeks to monitor the fluid level and babies weight and then if its still high at my next one (31 weeks), I will get biometric ultrasounds every week to monitor. The biggest concern at this point is pre term labor, which does worry me a little because I had my twins (first pregnancy) at 31 weeks, but until my doc seems more concerned I am trying to relax because all looks okay for the time being. Oh and I am currently 28 weeks as of tomorrow. I know this is long, but hopefully helpful.

It's happening to me right now! When I was 22 weeks SA, we discovered that baby was measuring 2 weeks ahead. And I had taken 14 pounds in a month and a half!!!!
Obviously, I failed my glucose test (not by much). I have a no-sugar diet right now, and I must limit my carbs intake. It's working great, I'm 28 weeks SA and haven't put any weight since then (but it's super frustrating ><).
