I woke up in the emergency room because I passed out. I thought I just had a bad stomach ache & I don’t remember passing out. Once I came to, the doctor explained to me that had internal bleeding in my stomach due to an ovarian cyst rupturing. I also had another cyst that needed to be removed before it ruptured. I had no idea that I had ovarian cysts prior to this. They did an emergency surgery on October 20th. The surgeon removed 1liter of blood from my stomach caused by the ruptured cyst and then removed the other cyst. It was the size of a golf ball.

I was in bed rest for two weeks following the surgery but I’m having pain on my left side by my ovaries. Is this normal??

I have to wear loose clothing to provide some comfort but I spend most of the day laying down with a heating pad.

I’m a college student.. this is actually my senior year.. if I don’t get better, I may not graduate 😭😭

Please give me advice on what to do.

How can I ease the pain?
