Sleep issues.... 😴

My son is 1 month old and he’s extremely needy and his sleep is non-existent to rare! I seriously, am running on very little sleep and it’s not good. At the hospital it was great, doctors and nurses would help us and it would work out great. The days after we got home he loved his daddy and only wanted me when it was time to feed. Then ever since that he doesn’t want anything to do with daddy and only me. Which means I’m the only one that can calm him down, feed him, hold him without him screaming and get him to sleep if he does!

He napped great at the hospital, once we got home NO naps.... ever! What baby doesn’t nap?! He got maybe 4 hours of sleep a day. Which is insane!!! Now a days, he takes 5-10 min cat naps while he’s supposed to be eating, then he’s wide awake and yawning constantly! At night we have a routine: 6:45 head to bed, feeds then sleep for 1-2 hours then awake for 2-3 hours, sleep for 1-2 hours....repeat!

He hates clothes, he hates being swaddled, he hates sleeping on his back, can not stand being in daddy’s arms, he refuses to sleep on daddy’s chest even though it’s the same position that he is on mommy’s chest!!

I can’t get restful sleep, I am not a back sleeper, I am constantly waking up with neck pain and headaches! I’m thankful that my BF stayed home 6 weeks with us (1.5 weeks left) however when he goes back to work I will probably flip out and have a mental breakdown!!! My doctors already say I have PPD due to lack of sleep, I mean seriously!!! How in the hell do I get sleep when he doesn’t nap for me to sleep? How do I sleep when he needs to sleep on my chest at night?

We have tried allowing him to cry but he cries and cries and cries which would last for hours on hand, he doesn’t know how to sooth himself! He just cries!! It breaks my heart!

Any ideas???
