Hospital bag essentials?

What are some things that you ladies would recommend bringing to the hospital?

I still haven't put one together and have no idea what to bring, for myself or baby. With my first son my water broke before I had my bag together, even thought he was 5 days late lol. I'm not very good at this.

Snacks definitely bring snacks you will be hungry and depending on when you deliver you might not be able to get anything from the hospital

You will need to find out what your hospital supplies for baby. Ours provides everything, so I only need to bring his going home outfit. For myself, I'm bringing a bunch of toiletries, my own towel & pillows (use a colored pillowcase if you have one so it does not get confused with the hospital ones, nursing bra, tank, gown, yoga pants, and robe. Going home outfit for me (maxi skirt & tank). Six pack of granny panties (don't know yet if I will Use them, but they were cheap), file folder for medical paperwork, and baby book.

By the door, I have a list reminding me to grab waters, snacks, and chargers before heading to the hospital.

Most important things I think are camera and charger. I also packed a special coming home outfit for baby and some clothes to wear for myself. I've also packed a bottle of champagne, but that is very non-essential.

For our first, we didn't have any bag packed and were totally fine. The only issue was that my husband went home after baby was born to get stuff and came back with all my sexiest underwear. Haha! This time, I've packed the comfortable ones.

We packed coming home outfit socks hat recieving blanket and a bigger blanket a few diapers and wet ones just in case and for myself nursing bra 2 comfy outfits undies and brush and stuff

Honestly, you have to figure out what your hospital is giving you because my hospital gave me everything I needed but here's what I brought & some things I should've brought... Boppy pillow
Money
Camera
Phone
Pads
Car seat
Going home outfit for you & baby
Breast pads
Pump if you have one
Bottles just in case
Journal to log everything
Pen or pencil
Hospital papers
ID & all important stuff
Birth plan
Anything you need for the birth plan (birthing ball, pool, etc.) 
Diapers/wipes if you live far from the hospital

The rest of the stuff your hospital should provide for you.. But if not, bring anything they don't provide
