Do dreams tell you something??

I have been married for just over 2 years (been together 4) and last night out of no where I had a very vivid dream about a guy that i grew up with and everyone, including him knew I had a HUGE CRUSH on. From 12 til more so 22/23 when i met my now current husband and I’m 26. When i woke up I felt like my feelings for him were brought back up and I can’t stop thinking about him. I haven’t seen his name or anything on fb, Snapchat, Instagram or anything in months. I love my husband and Im not going to leave him or anything ridiculous like that over a dream but I am a very curious person about emotions and what the brain thinks. So Why would I have had a dream like that??? Thanks! :)
