PCOS cause diabetes? Are there any natural home remedies to help cure it?" /> 
Diabetes runs in my Mom’s side of the family. Actually my Mom’s Mom has it and has been on insulin most of her life. Can untreated PCOS lead to diabetes? I was tested for PCOS about two years ago and I definitely have it. I was on Metformin for awhile but it made me too sick.

PCOS, really isn’t treatable. But yes it can increase your risks of diabetes. A healthy diet, lifestyle, and weight are the only things you can do to help prevent diabetes.

Untreated PCOS can definitely cause diabetes. You are probably diabetic if you have left it for so long.
Unless you have a strict diabetics diet and you exercise regularly, there’s no way to fix either of those things. They are conditions that require dedication to overcome and live healthily with.
